Aloha everyone,
After a long flight, we (brother Ed, sons Gerald and Mel, best friend and nurse/prayer warrior Dorothy Dutra, and myself) finally made it to Rochester, Minnesota. We left Kauai on Monday at 12 noon, and arrived in Rochester on Tuesday at 8:30am. We were in the air for almost 10 hours. We landed here and were greeted by beautiful weather. It was 70 degrees with blue skies, quite a difference from the 5 degree weather that greeted us back in December. We checked in to our home away from home, the Fiksdal Hotel, and after one room change (because of smoke coming from the air conditioning vent), we were able to relax and take a a short nap. Tomorrow, we start with pre-operative tests and a meeting with Dr. Chow, the surgeon and the anesthetist. At that time, we will find out the time of the surgery, which will be Thursday morning, Aug. 13th. Please keep me in your prayers and we will post daily updates to this blog. You can email me at jessiesamfong@gmail.com.
Love you all,
Jessie

Hello, Jessie,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that Mel let me know what's happening with you. I shall pray that all goes well Thursday with your surgery. I am so glad my friend Dorothy is there with you all too. Now she is a prayer warrior. We met at Kapaa Missionary Church. I am glad to have this site to post to you. Mel can check me out at FB also. Take care and tell the others to mind themselves as well. God bless you!
Aunty,
ReplyDeleteStay strong. The lord has everything under control. You just keep the faith, give it all you got and he will take care of the rest.
We love you and I am still waiting for you to come visit us in San Antonio.
Love Robert
Good morning, Jessie and all,
ReplyDeleteOur Kapaa Missionary Church prayer chain has been contacted and we lift you up in prayer. I pray the Lord guide your doctors and nurses and He will take care of you. Continue to trust in the Lord and have peace in your heart that there are those who love you and keep you in prayer.
God bless you!
Janice
